Today we filmed for our Preliminary Task. We filmed and began to edit a short film, our task involves a conversation between 2 close friends, about another girl who has been seeing one of the girls ex's. Shortly the other girl walks in. We have purposely made all characters to be mellow-dramatic, based on "The Only Way Is Essex." We had to change our idea as soon after filming our original idea we realised it was too short and could not be edited to fit the 30 second brief we were given.
Our piece involves:
- Shot-reverse-shot
- Match on action
- Continuity
The shots we used were as follows:
- Extreme close ups
- Close ups
- Reaction shot
- Tracking shot
- We will be using Adobe Premier to edit our piece and add in extra sounds to make it as professional as possible.
